The winter pair with a snap fastening at the wrist and an elastic cuff underneath, so cold air does not run up your sleeve. Leather is chrome-free sheepskin, the lining is a cashmere and wool blend, and the stitching is hand-sewn. These are cut to go with a formal coat rather than a parka.
The snap adjusts the opening, the elastic seals it. Between them the draught up the sleeve stops, which is what fails on cheap winter gloves.
Insulation without padding. You can still hold a steering wheel properly, which is more than most gloves warm enough for February can say.
Whole palm registers, so a phone or a car screen works without stripping a glove off in the cold.
Stitched by hand rather than machine-run, which shows at the seams and at the fourchettes between the fingers.
