Before you buy

This is where we are useful. Sizing, materials, measurements, which colours belong to the same model, whether a bag fits a specific laptop, how two similar gloves differ once you read past the title. Include the page you are looking at and the number you measured, and the answer comes back with a chart row in it rather than a shrug.

After you buy

Here we are not useful, and it is better to say so plainly. Once you press a buy button you leave this site and the order exists only at the retailer. We cannot see it, cancel it, redirect it, refund it or chase the carrier. Any message about a placed order should go to the retailer's support first, because they can act on it in minutes and we can only tell you to go there.

What we can actually help with

• Which size chart applies to a particular glove, and how to read it against your measurement.
• Lining, tanning and material questions across the 44 model families here.
• Bag dimensions, laptop clearance, strap drop and compartment layout.
• Belt length against a waist measurement, including what the buckle takes up.
• Mistakes on our pages. A wrong number here is our problem and we want to hear about it.
• Removal or correction requests covering anything we have published about you.

What we cannot help with

• Order status, tracking, cancellations and address changes.
• Refunds, exchanges and return labels.
• Warranty claims against the manufacturer.
• Stock levels, restock dates and price matching.

Press and corrections

Same address. If you write about leather goods and want the underlying measurements we collected, ask. If you have spotted something wrong on a page, say which page and what the correct figure is, and it gets changed at the next build rather than argued about.
