Women's Leather Gloves
Colour: Burgundy
Other colours in this model
A newer and quieter addition to the winter gloves: chrome-free sheepskin, a wool knit lining and a single twist of leather at the cuff doing all the decoration. It is the plainest of the lined women's pairs, which is why the colours matter more here than usual, and why purple, dark brown and burgundy are the three offered rather than another run of black.
The knit holds warmth while staying flexible, so the glove still closes round a wheel or a handle. Aimed at commuting and walking rather than standing still in deep cold.
A twist of leather at the cuff is the whole design. Nothing else interrupts the surface, which is what makes it sit under a coat sleeve without catching.
Tapping and swiping work across the palm and fingers. The elastic gather at the wrist keeps the fit close and slows cold air getting in.
Small through extra large on a width chart: 6.9-7.2, 7.2-7.5, 7.5-7.8 and 7.8-8.1 inches. Small, medium and large are the sizes carried here.
Specification
Everything here comes from the retailer data for this colour. The rating is the exception: colour variants share one listing, so that number is carried by all 3 colours of this model together.
Sizing runs by hand width in inches. The table further down is the one printed on this listing and it will not agree to the tenth with the merged scale on the home page.
Sizing
Hand Width in inches. Tap a row to mark it. This table belongs to this model only: other Fioretto gloves shift the same letters by two or three tenths of an inch, which is enough to move you a size.
| Size | Hand Width (in) |
|---|---|
| Small | 6.9 to 7.2 |
| Medium | 7.2 to 7.5 |
| Large | 7.5 to 7.8 |
| X-Large | 7.8 to 8.1 |
Measure straight across the palm at the widest point, thumb excluded. Width numbers run well below circumference numbers, so do not compare the two.
This calculator uses the chart above, so the answer applies to this model.
